Driving for Development Programme

Pictured above are the participants who completed a 6 week pilot employment training programme for under 25s.  The programme commenced on the 22 May with 9 participants. Included as part of the programme were a number of short individual training programmes some of which were accredited and others were Industry Certified.  Training provided was Manual Handling, First Aid, HACCP, Safe Pass, Driving Lessons, Personal Development STEPS Programme, Health and Wellbeing and Job Seeking Skills.  The driving lessons are ongoing and should be completed before the end of November.   The programme was delivered over 3 morning a week in Cavan.
