Cavan County Local Development Supports Dementia Pop-Up Café at Bailieborough Courthouse

Cavan County Local Development (CCLD) is proud to support the Dementia Pop-Up Café at the historic Bailieborough Courthouse, thought SICAP.

This initiative provides a warm, welcoming space for individuals living with dementia, their caregivers, and the wider community to come together, share experiences, and access valuable support and resources. The Dementia Pop-Up Café is designed to reduce social isolation and promote inclusivity by offering a friendly environment where attendees can engage in meaningful conversations, participate in activities, and gain insights from guest speakers specializing in dementia care.

The courthouse, a landmark in Bailieborough, serves as a unique and accessible venue, fostering a sense of belonging and community connection. CCLD's support for this initiative aligns with our mission to enhance social inclusion and community well-being. We recognize the challenges faced by individuals with dementia and their families, and we are committed to providing resources and backing initiatives that create positive impacts.

Through collaboration with local healthcare providers, community groups, and volunteers, we aim to build a dementia-friendly society where everyone feels valued and supported. We encourage community members to visit the Dementia Pop-Up Café, whether to seek support, offer companionship, or simply enjoy a cup of tea in good company.

Together, we can create a more understanding and compassionate environment for those affected by dementia. For more information on upcoming events or how to get involved, please visit our website or contact Cavan County Local Development directly.

Let's continue to build a strong, caring community for all.
