A Busy Start to 2025: Celebrating the Hard Work of Tús Workers

As we step into 2025, the dedication and hard work of Tús workers across our communities have been truly commendable. From beautifying public spaces to assisting in emergency response efforts, their contributions continue to make a real difference.


Signage Cleaning and Garden Prep in Ballinagh


Tús workers in Ballinagh kicked off the year with essential maintenance, cleaning signage and clearing out flower boxes and beds. Their efforts ensure that the town is ready for a fresh burst of color as new flowers are planted for the season. A big thank you to everyone involved in keeping our public spaces looking their best!


Supporting the Emergency Response Hub in Ballyjamesduff


Over the St. Brigid’s Bank Holiday weekend, some Tús workers went above and beyond by assisting at the Emergency Response Community Hub in Ballyjamesduff Fire Station. This hub was set up to provide essential services to the local community and surrounding areas affected by power and water outages following Storm Éowyn. Their willingness to step in during a time of need is greatly appreciated.


A Fresh Look for Mullagh’s Biodiversity Walk


In Mullagh, Tús workers took on the task of painting the wall along the Biodiversity Walk, giving it a fresh, clean look. Their hard work has brightened up this cherished community space, making it even more inviting for residents and visitors to enjoy.


Preparing for a Blooming Spring in Ballinagh Community Garden


Meanwhile, in Ballinagh Community Garden, Tús workers have been busy preparing planting beds for the new season. With spring bulbs already in place, we can look forward to an explosion of color in the coming months. Their dedication to enhancing local green spaces is truly commendable.
