Building Stronger Communities: Launch of Local Development Companies Network

Today, we were delighted to meet with TDs and Senators from around the country including Minister Jerry Butimer, Minister Dara Calleary, Senator Pauline Tully, Senator Diarmuid Wilson, Michael Fitzmaurice TD.

The launch provided opportunity to discuss the vital work we do in the community and explore ways to collaborate in ensuring the continued delivery of essential services across the county. The discussion focused on key challenges faced by local communities and the impact of our programs in promoting social inclusion, employment support, and community development.

Engaging with our elected representatives is crucial in strengthening our impact and securing the necessary resources to support individuals and families in need. Their commitment to understanding our mission and participating in meaningful dialogue underscores the importance of policy and funding advocacy.

As we look ahead, we remain dedicated to fostering partnerships that drive positive change. We extend our sincere gratitude to all who participated in this important discussion and look forward to continued collaboration in building a stronger, more inclusive community.
