SICAP is the Social Inclusion & Community Activation Programme. It aims to tackle poverty, social exclusion and long-term unemployment through local engagement and partnership between disadvantaged individuals, community organisations.
Tús is a Department of Social Protection activation initiative
Tús is a Department of Social Protection activation initiative for people who are long-term unemployed and in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance. It was launched in December 2010. Breffni Integrated run the TÚS Initiative in County Cavan.
LEADER promotes sustainable development in Europe’s rural areas addressing economic, social and environmental concerns. The LEADER Programme is an EU & Irish Government grant aid programme which supports rural communities to become better places to live and work. CCLD have prepared a ‘Local Development Strategy’ (LDS) plan to guide us in delivering the LEADER programme, which commenced in April 2024 and will run until end 2027

Rural Social Scheme
